Make Your Day Count

RR: In the authority of Jesus’ name, I pray the prayer of faith.  Now listen to me.  Let me give you the Bible tonight.  The Bible says, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up.”

AT: He talked about the healing, you know, God’s healing, you know,

He’s the only person that you can go to.  So that gave me like more strength, you know, when I heard him talking. 

BRAD Abner also called in and had a prayer cloth sent to him.

AT: I use to put the prayer cloth that they send me, and I put it on my back and my legs.

BRAD: He watched Richard and Lindsay for several nights from his hospital bed, when he decided to call the Abundant Life Prayer Group.

AT: When I called them, I started feeling a little warm on me and I started moving my toes, then moving my legs.  So I said, “Thank God, you know, I’m getting healed,” you know.  And then I started thanking God and praising the Lord, you know.  And I know that God was healing me, you know, because I started moving my legs.

BRAD: The next day, Abner couldn’t wait to show his doctor how he could move his legs and feet.

AT: The doctor came again, and asked me, you know, how I feel.  But I told him, you know, that I was starting to move a little bit, you know.  And he said to me, “You will never walk again.  I’m sorry to tell you.”

BRAD: Abner though refused to be discouraged, and little by little he kept getting more feeling and movement in his legs.  A month later he could walk with a walker.  Six months after that, he started walking all by himself.  And today Abner says his legs and back are healed by God.

AT: It’s a miracle!  It’s a miracle.  It’s a miracle!  I couldn’t even stand up.  I thank God for this ministry.  That program gave me courage and hope.  That was the only hope I had because I had nobody else to turn to.  The doctor could not do nothing for me.  The doctor gave me no alternative.  The doctor gave me no alternative whatsoever.

The only source that I would have is the man upstairs, the healing for man, Jesus.  When man says no, God says yes.

LR:  Your tithe and your offering is completely connected to God rebuking the devourer for your sake.  Why is that?  I don’t know.  That’s what God wrote.  He said when you bring the tithe in, He would open you the windows of heaven, pour you out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it, and rebuke the devourer for your sake.  That’s the way God set it up.

So I want to show you what people have been doing as a result of that.  They’ve been specifically naming their seed for a specific harvest, just as Malachi was saying. 

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this precious woman called in and sowed $200 to believe God for her healing.  Now is she trying to buy a miracle?  Well, I don’t think they’re for sale.  And if they are, I’m not sure what you’d charge—like what’s a cold cost?  What’s cancer cost?  That’s not how God set it up.  He said, “When you bring your tithe as offering and seed unto God, he would open the windows of heaven, pour out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it, and rebuke the devourer for our sake.”  And that’s what this precious woman is doing.  (Reading names)

In Ohio, $25 seed for financial miracles.  You know, that seems so, to the world’s system, to the natural system, seems so silly.  When you need finances, why would you give what finances you have?  Because God said very clearly in Luke 6:38, when you give it would be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.  And I believe the Bible.  I believe the Word of God.

LP:  Abner Torres, Orlando, FL

BRAD: With some 50 million tourists each year, Orlando is one of the world’s top vacation spots.  In fact, only Las Vegas tops Orlando when it comes to US cities with the most hotel rooms.  That’s where Abner Torres comes in.  He owns an employment agency here in Orlando where he finds jobs for people mostly in the hotel and service industry.

AT: I’m sending you a qualified person just right now, one that you need right now.

BRAD: Not long ago though, Abner’s livelihood and life came to a screeching halt after he had a bad fall in his home.

AT: And when I fell down on the floor, suddenly I could not move.  From the lower part down, I couldn’t move anything.  It was a very bad fall because I wasn’t able to move nothing, nothing.  I couldn’t even move not even my feet or my toes, nothing.

The ambulance came and took me to Florida Hospital.  And there they did some testing.

BRAD: The doctor told Abner that he twisted his back, injuring the nerves in his lower spine.  He then told Abner he would never walk again.

AT: I kind of didn’t believe that, but then I asked another opinion from another doctor.  And the other doctor said the same thing, I would never walk again.

BRAD: Doctors at the hospital told Abner an operation was his only chance to restore any feeling or movement to his legs and feet.  But Abner said doctors gave him no guarantees.

AT: The doctor said I had to go for an operation.  And the doctor said, “We’ll give you a 30 percent of recovering, just 30 percent after the operation.”  They wanted to break my spine again and be able to put things together again.  But he would not give me a promise on that.  He said, “You might have a 30 percent chance.”

BRAD: Abner didn’t like the odds he was given.  But without the operation, he knew he’d need a miracle if he was to ever walk again.

So one night from his hospital bed, he was flipping through the channels and came across The Hour of Healing.

AT:
Every night what I would do, I would put the TV on on Oral Roberts.

LR:
You know, just like Lori in Orlando and Lindsay in Tulsa, Oklahoma and one of my daughters at 15 in Tulsa, Oklahoma—I had a 15-year-old daughter, she’s now 18, that was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. And they were about to do surgery. My daughter went to a prayer service and was miraculously healed.

I had a tumor the size of a grapefruit on my only functioning ovary, and I was in surgery for a hysterectomy, and God healed me. It was supernaturally miraculously healed. I had cancer specialists there, had all these kind of doctors there, B-scan, ultrasound, all that stuff. And I found God that day to be a miracle-working God. I’ve always known Him to be a miracle-working God.

And I don’t know what you’re going through. Maybe it is cancer. Maybe it is tumors. Maybe it is cysts. Maybe it’s something that you might not even know the name of. Maybe it’s depression. I’m telling you, I can’t even begin to tell you how many testimonies we get and praise reports, as well as prayer requests, about depression.

Whatever it is, my Bible says the name of Jesus is above every name named in heaven and earth. And at that name everything else has to bow. So in the name of Jesus, right now I speak to you, precious one, and I pray in the name of Jesus. I pray, first of all, for fear to be gone and for the faith of God to rise up and begin to minister healing to you right now, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, in everything you do right now. Begin to praise Him and praise Him and praise Him. I read a book about the praise cure, beginning to believe God. As you praise Him, He inhabits the praises of His people. And expect a miracle right now.

Sickness and disease, I speak directly to you, fear, torment, doubt, worry, anything that has come against your life that is unlike God. The Bible says, I read just in Malachi, anything that comes as a devourer, in the name of Jesus, I pray for God to rebuke the devourer for your sake, in the name of Jesus, for you to raise up, to be raised up to healing and wholeness. In Je-sus’ name, amen.

And I believe as you do that, I believe as you begin to speak it out, begin to say what you have need of and sow a seed—this whole stack right here, this en-tire stack is people sowing seed against their need, believing what the prophet Malachi said, that as you bring tithe and offering into the storehouse, God himself would open you the windows of heaven, pour you out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it and rebuke the de-vourer for your sake.

And as you do that, when you give the prayer partners your prayer request, ask them to pray specifically. If you’re sowing a seed, don’t just sow a seed, although that’s a wonderful thing to do. Don’t just sow the seed. Make sure you give your prayer request to the prayer part-ners so we can specifically say that this seed is aimed at this need, in Jesus’ name.

I don’t think there’s anything, next to my salvation, that I found to be more important to the heart of God than obeying His commandments. And one of those is that we bring tithe and offering into His storehouse. That’s the book of Malachi, and it goes all the way through the New Testament.

So I want to encourage you, sow your seed unto God. Don’t throw your seed, sow it. Aim it for a desired result and say specifically what you’re believing God for that miracle for, 918-495-7777. When you sow your seed or give your prayer request, they’re going to bring that to me and we’re going to pray over it.

And in the name of Jesus, we not only pray over all of these prayer requests and all of the names and the seeds that have come in right now. That’s just right now. Whatever it is that you’re facing, whatever it is you’re going through, I remind you ac-cording to God’s Word that the name of Jesus is a name that’s above every name named in hea-ven and earth and at that name everything else that’s been thrown from satan has to bow.

And in Jesus’ name, we pray for God to touch you from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet and make you every bit whole, for the devourer to be rebuked and for you to be a delightsome land, and all people call you blessed, in Jesus’ name. I encourage you to be blessed, in the name of Jesus.

Now I want to read you something out of this book, and it’s in chapter 5. And it says, “Speak to your stress.” Now I had to get a grip on reading this chapter to myself recently. It says, “Speak to your stress.” You know, it’s so easy to look at Mark 11:23 and 24 where it says, “Speak to your mountain and command it to be cast into the sea.”

You know, if we look at that, it reads so carefully of how to instruct us to speak to the mountain. But, you know, as human beings, what we tend to do is speak about it. “Oh, my this, and oh, my that.” And the more you talk about it, the more it just seems to give it life. “Oh, my dog’s bigger than your dog. My problem is bigger than your problem.”

Or you pick up the phone and you get people that begin to sympathize with you and be-gin to talk more about the problem. I found out through every situation that I’ve ever faced that it is so easy to slip into the temptation to talk about the problem. But that’s not what Mark 11:23 and 24 says. It commands us to have faith in God and to speak to the mountain. And when we speak to the mountain, it gives us specific things to say. It says, “Be thou removed. Be thou cast into the sea. Do not doubt in your heart, but believe the things that you say shall come to pass. You shall have whatsoever you say.”

Then it goes on and talks about forgiveness. That’s a tough one. I’m telling you, some-times forgiveness is a very difficult thing to do. But it is a gift. Forgive. It’s giving it ahead of time.

You go into agreement with the Word of God, and sometimes you go into agreement with forgiveness just as an act of your faith. And the Bible says that we’re to pray for others, even if they’ve hurt you or persecuted you or said things against you. You’re still required to pray for them. You don’t have to go into agreement with what they’re doing, but you’re required to pray for them as a human being.

And I find myself praying for people more and more and more. The Bible says, “How easy it is to love the lovely, but how difficult it is to love the unlovely.” Why not consider pray-ing for those people who have stressed you out? Why not consider praying for those people who have maybe put you in a situation that’s caused this stress?

And as you begin to pray for them with the love of God, I believe that’s when God begins to turn things around and He makes your enemies at peace with you. I truly believe that scrip-ture. In fact, I’ve lived on that scripture.

And I want to encourage you to do that. There’s something else I want to encourage you, and that’s in this chapter, in chapter 5, please get this book as my free gift to you. But also one of the things I want to encourage you to do is plant a seed out of your need. In fact, not just plant a seed out of your need. Plant a seed directly aimed against your need.

Now you may think, Lindsay—like the precious lady that I read, one of her greatest needs was finances. Why in the world would she plant a seed.

Well, I’ll tell you, the lady that asked me prayer for finances planted a $50 seed. And she was saying with her $50 seed that she was planting the seed against her need. She was aiming it for that need to be obliterated.

Is that in the Bible? Well actually yes. It’s in Malachi 3:10 and 11. And God promised that if we would return unto Him, He would return unto us. And then the prophet Malachi was saying, “Okay, where do we return? Where have we gone wrong?”

And then they began to speak prophetically: “Return unto God in tithe and offering. Bring your tithe and offering into the storehouse,” and that’s Malachi—I’ll read it right to you—“and prove me.” That’s the only place in the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation that says prove God, the only place that word is used. And it’s concerning tithe and offering.

And he said—I’ll read it right here—He said, “Bring tithe and offering into the store-house that there may be meat,” or resources, “in his storehouse,” or that’s in God’s work is what He means. And He said, “And prove me now, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not,” one, “open you the windows of heaven,” two, “pour you out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it all,” and three, “I will rebuke the devourer for your sake.” And He goes on to say when you do that, you will be a delightsome land, and all nations shall call you blessed.

And I think that we have to recognize there is a Biblical formula here, not just because somebody said it, not just because it sounds like a cool idea, but this is the Bible. This is where God was speaking through the prophet Malachi. And in my Bible it’s got kind of a little sub-heading, and my subheading says, “Robbing God.”

And he said, “You’ve robbed God in your tithe and offering. But when you return unto God in your tithe and offering, he will return unto you. And he said, “If you don’t do it, it says you are cursed with a curse.”

Well, you know, we don’t want to be that way. We don’t want to get into that position. We want to sow unto God. And then when we sow in tithe and offering, we have a Bible right—not a Lindsay right, not a this right or that right—we have a Bible right according to the prophet Malachi, last book of the Old Testament, that God was speaking, that when we open our tithe and offering to God, when we open our substance to God, when we give our substance to God, what happens? God opens His substance. He opens the window of heaven. He pours out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it. He rebukes the devourer for our sake. We become a delightsome land. All nations called us blessed. We’ve got the better end of the deal. But you have to sow your seed first.

I want to just read you a couple of these, and then we’re going to go to a testimony about this. Hold on just a second. (Reading names) You mean you can buy wisdom for $300? Friend, if you could, I would be the first one in line to buy it because I think I need it more than most people in the universe because I make dumb decisions sometimes. We all do.

But you’re not buying wisdom for $300. You’re doing what God said. You’re bringing tithe and offering into His work, and then he is opening you the windows of heaven, pouring out a blessing and rebuking the devourer for your sake.

I’ve got so many, on and on. We’re going to get back to these in just a minute. But right now I want to take you to a testimony about healing. And while you’re listening to this testi-mony, I want you to begin to believe God for your healing. So stay tuned. We’re going to be right back.

LP: Lori Fedorichak

BRAD:
Originally from New Jersey, Lori Fedorichak is a wife, mother of three, and a grandmother. Lori likes to think she’s proactive when it comes to her health. She exercises, eats right, and like two out of three women over 40 in the U.S., Lori goes in for a routine mammogram every year. She says it’s usually a very quick, simple procedure. That is, except for the last time she went in for a mammogram.

LF:
They took it, and they said, “Hold on. You know, just another minute. We’re going to take an-other one.”
They took another one, and the woman come back in the room. And she said, “We saw something. We’re going to take one more.” By then I started really getting nervous. And I’m going, “Oh Lord, oh no.” And I said, “There’s nothing there, no, no.”

BRAD:
After a third mammogram, the nurse brought Lori in for an ultrasound.

LF:
They did see something. She said, “There’s something there.” And I said, “What could it be? What could it be?”
And she said, “Calm down, calm down.” I said, “Could it be cancer?” And she said, “Yes, it could be.” And I was so scared.

BRAD:
Her doctor then told her she had a mass in her right breast.

LF:
I never felt the lump, but they called it a mass. They called it a mass.

BRAD:
Lori then went to see an oncologist, who told her they’d have to do a biopsy on the mass to de-termine if it was cancer.

LF:
He explained the whole procedure, and it sounded horrible. And it sounded like surgery. He said, “Well, it’s not surgery. It beats surgery.” He made the appointment for the biopsy, and the appointment was set, I think it was like two or three weeks away.

BRAD:
Lori went home and called the Abundant Life Prayer Group for prayer.

LF:
They prayed with me. And when they hung up, they said, “So call us with any testimonies.” And I said, “I will. I will.”

BRAD:
Lori had seen Richard read praise reports from people who were healed by God and knew it could happen to her.

RR:
Cancer, come out. I rebuke every trace of it, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, in the authority of Jesus’ mighty name.

LF:
He has a beautiful ministry, beautiful ministry. And people are getting healed all the time on his program.

BRAD:
Lori also read healing scriptures in her Bible and kept praising God.

LF:
And I had told Him that, “Lord, if You don’t heal me, I’ll still praise You.

BRAD:
The very next week, Lori went in for her biopsy.

LF:
So I went into the room. They had me put on the gown. They had me lay face down on the ta-ble. And she’s looking at the screen, and she’s looking and looking and looking. And while she’s looking, it’s taking her quite a while, she was looking and looking at the screen. And I’m glancing over at her and going, “Oh, please.”

She said, “You’re going to feel a pinch, and then you’re going to feel yourself getting numb, and then we’ll cut you.”

And I said, “Lord, I know You could move last minute. I know you’re an on-time God who can move last minute. You’re a miracle-working God. And I still praise You.”

So she’s looking and looking at the screen, and all of a sudden, she said to me, “You know, I can’t biopsy what I can’t see.” She said, “I’m going to have to take you off the table and take you in the room and take another X-ray of you.”

So I get off the table, go in the room, they give me the other X-ray. And she said, “An-other one, we’re going to take another one.” And she took another one, and she sent me back into the room to wait.

And then she comes in the room. She said to me, “Come here and look at this.” She said, “This is the one that you had done before you came. This is the one you brought. Look at this mass on your breast.” And she said, “And this is the one we took today.” She said, “If I were you, I’d be jumping up and down.” She said, “There’s nothing there.” She said, “So I can’t biopsy what I can’t see.”
And I stood up. I said, “Thank You, Jesus!”

BRAD:
Lori believes all women should have routine mammograms because it could save your life. But she and her husband Frank also say there is no substitutes for the healing power of God.

FRANK:
I was so excited and so happy for my wife, you know, because things like this do happen in the world. But we know our God is a healing God. You know, we just know. He will come through one way or another.

LF:
I’m feeling great, and I always think about the things that God has done for me, and it makes me want to shout. It still makes me want to shout when I think of the goodness that He has done.
It is so awesome that God is real and alive. It’s amazing what He can do.
